Just a quick post to let you know I'll be at the brand new Kapow! Comic Con in London on April the 9th. I'll only be there for the day as Marineman is a hard taskmaster, but if you happen to be in the area and can get a ticket, then please drop by and say hi!
Here's a link to the show's website...

Hi Mr. Churchill,
ReplyDeleteI just want to let you know how absolutely fantastic I think Marineman is. On a whim, I picked up issue #1. I am so glad I gave it a chance. It has become my #1 pull at my comic shop. I just finished issue 3 and it was fantastic. I eagerly await each new issue, they can't come out fast enough. The writing, drawing, coloring, literally everyhing about this book is just.....perfect. Everyone out there should be reading this book, trust me, you will not be disappointed.
Thank you for one of the best comic book series ever created
Sincerely,
A huge fan,
Paul Lawrence

Hi Ian,
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't by chance be coming to Phoenix Con this year, would you? If not, do you have an outlet that you sell original art and/or do commissions? I'd love to get a piece from you at some point.
Thanks as always, and I can't wait for issue #4.
Hi Paul!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the enthusiastic post and for helping to spread the word!
Marineman Issue 4 is released this very day, so no need to wait any longer, the next installment awaits you at your local comic store!
I hope you enjoy it as much as the first three issues!
Thanks for taking the time to write,
Best,
-Ian
Hey Shawn,
ReplyDeleteSorry fella, I'm afraid I won't be at Phoenix Con this year but for original art and commissions you can contact Spencer Beck at The Artist's Choice website, as he handles that side of things for me.
Here's a link and I hope you enjoy issue 4!

Mr Churchill
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Bedford.
Grabbed issue one on the basis of your earlier works but not really knowing what I was letting myself in for. The art looked like a retro thing and the gut said to try...
So glad I did! Loving it all so far, especially the art! I am a big fan of stylised and exaggerated art styles at the moment so Marineman fits right in there!
I am bring all the issues so far to Kapow - they need a signature to be complete!
Are you going to be sketching at Kapow? I only ask as I am working a marriage proposal into my sketch book which I am aiming to finish in May after a trip to New York but would love to add something Churchill to the piece - words/art what ever people want to add!
Anyways, keep up the great work dude!
